Rokhrate Impact

Since inception in 2022, Rokhrate Hub has supported in training and job placement of 80 Ugandan youth, women, and refugees in different countries including Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and Uganda.

Since January, we have partnered with local and international recruitment agencies and deployed 60 youths (25 male and 35 females) on jobs such as Baristas, Chefs, Waiters, Landscapers, Machine operators among others after training and completing eHub job ready assessment levels.

Our mission is to empower women and youth to thrive in a rapidly changing world. We believe in the adage "Don't wait for a hand, learn to stand alone." This encourages individuals to take responsibility for themselves, be proactive and rely on their own abilities.

Our Approach

We recognize that poverty and unemployment lowers youth and women quality of life and reduces their human development. Our work addresses two generational approaches whereby we believe that when you empower one youth in a family, the whole family gets empowered and thus the whole community.
